Komargo Magic Too

Arnold came about when my mother in law and I decided to mate Tink and keep a bitch. As it happened there were only dogs in the litter and so we kept a male. When Di Venn (Yogi's owner) saw him as a baby she declared he was a baby Yogi and as he has matured you can see more and more of his dad in him, Yogi never liked showing much, and Arnold could take it or leave it. As I'm not able to get around the showring much now, he leaves it.

I love this breed and although I have no intention of showing or breeding them at present I still try and keep up to date with the world of border collies.

ARNOLD GROWING UP

 

 

Shown here at two days old.
He was given the name Arnold by my then 6 year old daughter who's favourite children's tv programme was "...hey Arnold !"
At about 3-4 weeks old.
At about 6 weeks old, learning to be handled and groomed on the table.
8 - 10 weeks old and developing a love for the 'kong'.
3 - 4 months old, learning to stand still for the show ring.
Now 5 months old, his coat was a bit slow in developing taking after his all UK bred mum no doubt.
Leeds Championship show, being handled by Alan McCord. He won 2nd in class, behind his half brother.
Now aged 7and on a visit to Coombe Abbey nr Coventry. He loves retrieving.
